Ukraine Appeal
Over the last few weeks the students, staff, parents, and Fr Colm from The Augustinian community put together a van load of materials for those in need on the Ukrainian border. Over the last few weeks medical equipment, clothes and much more was collected in the school, in Maher’s chemist and in the Augustinian church from the school community and the wider Drogheda community.
The van was packed and is travelling to Ukraine on Thursday 28th May. Today John and the van have arrived in Kraków. See the gallery below with some pictures. Best of luck and a safe journey to John Mc Govern as he travels across Europe to deliver the supplies.
The school would like to thank all those who contributed and we pray that peace prevails sooner rather than later in Ukraine.
See below the video of John in Dublin port on Thursday the 28th of April.
We will update the gallery below showcasing his progress through Europe culminating with the delivery in Warsaw.
