New Girls in Greenhills
The sun was shining for a new generation of Greenhills’ girls as a fresh batch of students passed through the gates of the school for the first time at the end of August. Greeted by principal Geraldine Mulvihill and first year Head Elaine Mills, the girls enjoyed two days of induction during which time they were welcomed and given an introduction to all aspects of school life as well as a tour of the school and campus.
Acknowledging the importance of this milestone in the girls’ lives, Ms. Mills encouraged them to work hard in the classroom and embrace all of the diverse opportunities in sport, music, drama, art, dance and social engagement that Our Lady’s College has to offer.
She reminded the students that the move from primary school is a huge transition, one which takes some time to get used to and that they are now embarking on the next adventurous phase of their education journey.
All in the school community wish the girls every happiness and success in their time in Our Lady’s College.
