Greenhills Students Raise Funds for Drogheda Cares at Christmas

Recently, Transition Year students raised money for local charity group Drogheda Cares at Christmas by participating in a sponsored 12-hour personal challenge. This year the money raised is being shared between two projects: The Red Door Project based in Drogheda and the international charity, the Augustinian mission in Bolivia.

Two members of the Drogheda Cares committee, Fr. Colm O’Mahony, OSA, and Phil Conygham, visited Our Lady’s College, to accept a cheque for 615.92 euro, raised by Transition Year students in the school.

Fr. Colm expressed his immense gratitude to the students for the substantial sum raised.

Our Lady’s College is proud of its over forty year long association with the wonderful work of Drogheda Cares.
