Our Lady’s College Student Wins Prestigious Scholarship
Greenhills student Peidi Li has been awarded a prestigious All-Ireland scholarship in recognition of her marvellous results in Leaving Certificate 2022. The award will cover Peidi Li’s fees for the full duration of her undergraduate studies in Mathematics with a Modern Language at Trinity College.
Four of the highest achieving students from County Louth will be honoured at the awards ceremony in University Concert Hall, University of Limerick on the sixteenth of September.
The All-Ireland Scholarship was established in 2008 and recognises the academic success of 125 students across the island of Ireland annually, with a minimum of two students chosen from each of the 32 counties.
Commenting on the scheme, its sponsor J.P. Mc Manus has described its objective as providing “financial support to many gifted young students”. Successful students must have attended a non-fee paying school and be in receipt of a 3rd level maintenance grant from Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) or be in receipt of an Education Maintenance Allowance in Northern Ireland.
All in Our Lady’s College, Greenhills are immensely proud of Peidi Li’s wonderful achievement and wish her continued happiness and academic success during her time in Trinity.
