• Tuesday 23 September 2025 2nd Year Art Trip to Botanic Gardens 2nd year Art students enjoyed a day of drawing and photography at the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin today. They will now use their collected artwork to develop print, sculpture and painting projects.

• Monday 15 September 2025 Katie NíMhaoláin - Violin Teacher It is with great excitement that we welcome back a past pupil of Our Lady's College, Greenhills to join the teaching staff of our school. Katie NíMhaoláin was an active member of our schools Music Department as a student and now we are delighted to welcome her back in her new role as violin teacher. It was with great sadness at the end of last year that we had to say goodbye to Ms Hannah Farrell who gave so many dedicated years to all the students who enrolled in the violin programme here in our school. She was also an integral part of the running of our wonderful school orchestra.Katie will be a valuable addition to anyone who is considering taking up the violin this year. It is a fantastic opportunity to avail of the wealth of experience that Katie will offer. If your daughter has not already signed up this is an opportunity not to be missed. • Thursday 11 September 2025 Youth Work Ireland Workshop Many thanks to Maggie Cumiskey of Youth Work Ireland for facilitating workshops for TY and LCA students. The workshops will focus on promoting positive mental health and healthy relationships. The workshops are part of a cross- border partnership funded by the Peace Plus strand of the EU.

• Tuesday 29 April 2025 Marie Claire Rogers, Class of 2019 - Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam. Yesterday we learned of the untimely passing of Marie Claire Rogers who graduated from Our Lady’s College, Greenhills in 2019. Marie Claire was a student who lit up the corridors of our school with her smile and enthusiasm for life. A deep sadness swept through the school here yesterday as we all learned of this terrible news. She will be very fondly remembered by all her teachers, fellow students and other members of staff who were lucky enough to have known such a wonderful girl. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Marie Claire’s family and friends. Once a Greenhills Girl, always a Greenhills Girl! Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

• Tuesday 25 March 2025 Ski Trip to Italy 2025 In February of this year, 19 students and 8 teachers made their way to the Dolomites in Italy for what was an amazing ski trip in the Brentonico Ski Resort. A great week was had by all Students and Teachers. In an action packed week of skiing and various night time activities such as snow-shoeing, a cards night, a quiz night and a talent show, the ski group also managed to spend a few hours walking around the beautiful city of Verona.
