3rd Year Home Economics trip to Airfield in Dundrum
Our 3rd Year Home Economics students had a fantastic day at Airfield Estate in Dundrum, on Thursday, exploring the journey from “farm to fork.”
Highlights included watching the Jersey cows being milked, making and tasting fresh butter, and seeing how cheese is made. Students also visited the livestock, explored the gardens and discovered sustainable farming and composting practices.
A truly enjoyable and educational experience.
