Friday 4 October 2024 Our Lady's College Greenhills Open Night 2024-25. Corridors and classrooms in Our Lady’s College were packed on Wednesday night last for the school’s Open Night. This is an annual event when 5th and 6th class students and their parents/guardians are welcomed into the school to sample the curriculum and wide-ranging extra-curricular activities, artistic, sporting and others that the school has to offer.

Monday 30 September 2024 Cross Country Phoenix Park Well done to the ladies from 1st 2nd and 3rd year who braved wet and windy conditions last Thursday in the Phoenix park running cross country. 3rd years claimed third team place with Shauna Rice and Dara Eili Schiopu both coming home with medals for their placings inside the top 20. Well done to everyone who ran, super start to the season ??

Friday 27 September 2024 Basketball v Sacred Heart On Tuesday September 24th, our under 19A and under 16A Basketball teams both had wins over the Sacred Heart. Well done to all involved.

Monday 23 September 2024 Greenhills Host Senior Schools Camogie Blitz On Thursday, September 12th, Our Lady’s College hosted a very successful camogie blitz for senior students in five Louth secondary schools at Newtown Blues GAA grounds.

Tuesday 28 May 2024 Greenhills Girls are Leinster Champions Congratulations to the Our Lady’s College under 15 soccer team who have been crowned Leinster “A” League Champions in a tough campaign in which 120 schools competed for the coveted title.

Friday 17 May 2024 Our Lady's College Remembers the late Paddy Brennan All in Greenhills were deeply saddened to hear news of the death of local man Paddy Brennan, on April 29th. A beloved member of the school community, Paddy played an integral part in the life of Our Lady’s College, since his first involvement with the school in the mid 1970’s when his daughters were students there.

Friday 17 May 2024 As Paul Fennelly Retires…. A young Paul Fennelly first arrived in Our Lady’s College in September 1986, having successfully interviewed for a position to teach Maths and Irish. As Paul points out, it was unusual to travel so far north from Kilkenny because most lads would venture no further than Croke Park!

Friday 9 February 2024 Greenhills Students Raise Funds for Drogheda Cares at Christmas Recently, Transition Year students raised money for local charity group Drogheda Cares at Christmas by participating in a sponsored 12-hour personal challenge. This year the money raised is being shared between two projects: The Red Door Project based in Drogheda and the international charity, the Augustinian mission in Bolivia.

Monday 22 January 2024 IAMTA Junior Maths problem solving competition Three teams from Our Lady's College, Greenhills made the journey to Dundalk Grammar to take part in the regional round of the IAMTA Junior Maths problem solving competition. This competition involved teams of four answering questions against the clock in a quiz format. Schools were represented from both Louth and Monaghan at the competition and we were thrilled that one of our teams secured a third place finish after a tense tie break. They now go on to represent the region in the national finals.

Friday 12 January 2024 2024 Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Candidate Information Video For the forthcoming examinations, the front cover of examination answerbooks and examination stationery will be enhanced slightly. As before, candidates will be required to provide their examination number on all answerbooks and all stationery which is returned at the end of the examination session. They will now also be required to submit their full date of birth to include the year of birth, previously the year of birth was not required.

Friday 1 December 2023 Our Lady's College Lotto Our Lady's College Drogheda are starting a fundraiser Lotto. This is a fundraising initiative and the money raised will be used to directly support your children's education and purchase resources for our school including (1) IT Equipment including Interactive Whiteboards & HP Pro Books, (2) Books and Equipment for the School Library, (3) Goal Posts for the School Astro and (4) Sports Equipment for the School Gym.

Friday 24 November 2023 Our Lady's College Takes Croker Last week, all of the Greenhills Junior Cycle History students, travelled to Croke Park on a field trip as part of their study of the GAA and the role of cultural nationalism in nineteenth century Ireland.
