Clodagh Downey

Clodagh Downey graduated with a PhD in Early and Medieval Irish from University College, Cork in 2002. Since then, she has worked in lecturing and research in various areas of Celtic Studies in University College Cork, University of Cambridge, Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies and NUI Galway. Her teaching and research interests include Old and Middle Irish language, the literature of medieval Ireland, including heroic, mythological and king-tales, and dindṡenchas.
